CJX™ Pixel: the first-party ad tracking pixel
One script on your domain, one event ID, three destinations: Meta, Google Ads and GA4.
In short
The CJX™ Pixel is CJM's first-party script: it runs on your domain, collects your site events and ties them to the traffic source. It installs with one click on Google Tag Manager and sends to Meta, Google Ads and GA4 from the browser and the server with a single event ID.
What is the CJX™ Pixel?
The CJX™ Pixel is the script CJM puts on your site to collect events. It runs on your domain and uses first-party cookies, so the data is born inside your site. It is the foundation of Unify.
How do you install it?
With Google Tag Manager installed, in one click: CJM publishes the script to the container (GTM one-click setup). No developer needed. Without GTM, with undetected consent or with unusual forms, a code change is needed. The connection goes through Google Tag Manager.
Where does it send events?
- To Meta, from the browser and the server.
- To Google Ads, from the browser and the server.
- To GA4, with server-side tracking.
Browser and server use the same event ID: see server-side tracking.
What about consent?
The pixel follows the banner's consent: Consent Mode v2 style signals, with Iubenda and Cookiebot.
What to do next
Pixel events land in the unified dashboard and feed the CJX™ Score. See the plans or check your tracking with the free audit.
Questions about the CJX™ Pixel
What is the CJX™ Pixel?
It is the CJM script that collects your site events. It uses first-party cookies on your domain and sends the events to Meta, Google Ads and GA4.
Do I need a developer to install it?
Not if Google Tag Manager is installed: the pixel is published to the container with one click. Without GTM, with undetected consent or with unusual forms, a code change is needed.
Does the pixel respect consent?
It follows the consent collected by your site's banner. This is not legal advice: compliance stays with your banner and your privacy notice.
How is it different from the Meta pixel?
The CJX™ Pixel also sends the same event from the server and delivers it to several destinations with a single event ID, so platforms do not count it twice.
