What does this feature do?
It brings the consent collected by your site's banner into tracking. There are four Consent Mode v2-style signals, which the CJX™ Pixel updates when the visitor makes a choice. CJM also publishes the consent tags on Google Tag Manager.
Which banners does it work with?
Is it a compliance guarantee?
No. The wording is "Consent Mode v2-style" and it is not legal advice. Banner, privacy notice and legal bases stay with you. The site's legal pages are in Legal.
Do I need a developer?
Not with GTM installed (one-click GTM setup). Without GTM, with undetected consent or with unusual forms, a code change is needed.
What changes for event sending?
Server-side tracking and the Meta Conversions API take consent into account. It is part of Unify. See the plans.

What happens if the visitor does not consent?
The pixel follows the signal it receives from the banner. For Meta, without consent for user data and for personalization, CJM does not send the event.
