Iubenda: sends follow your banner's consent
A bridge and GTM tags bring Iubenda consent into CJM tracking.
In short
The Iubenda integration brings the consent collected by your banner into CJM tracking. The connection runs through a bridge and Google Tag Manager tags, and sends follow consent signals in the style of Consent Mode v2. This is not legal advice: compliance remains with your banner.
What does the Iubenda integration do?
It brings the consent collected by the Iubenda banner into CJM tracking. CJM's Consent Mode v2 uses four signals in the Consent Mode v2 style: a bridge reads the visitor's choices and Google Tag Manager tags pass them to the CJX™ Pixel. Sends to the platforms follow those signals.
How do I connect it?
- Enter your site, with the Iubenda banner active.
- With GTM installed, CJM publishes the bridge and tags for Iubenda in your container.
- Check on your site that the Iubenda purposes match the signals.
- Test the banner: accept and reject, and check what is sent.
What does it NOT do?
- It is not legal advice and does not certify compliance.
- It does not replace the banner or the privacy notice.
- It does not check the purpose numbering on its own: it must be validated on the site.
Where to go next

Questions about Iubenda
Does the integration make my site compliant?
No. CJM brings the consent already collected by your banner into tracking, but it is not legal advice: compliance remains with your banner, your privacy notice and your advisers.
Do I need a developer?
Not with Google Tag Manager installed: the bridge and tags go into the container. Without GTM, with undetected consent or with unusual forms, you need a code change.
Do I need to check anything after connecting?
Yes: the purpose numbering must be validated on the client's site, because it depends on how you configured Iubenda.
What happens if consent is missing?
Sending follows the signal: for Meta, for example, sending stops without adUserData and adPersonalization consent.
